This here is the 18th year which Misty Valley Books has presented its weekend of Book Authors reading of their books. On Sunday the 5th of February 2012, Doctor Conger will be at Misty Valley Books, which is located on Main Street in Chester, Vermont. Doctor Beach Conger is a practicing Physician in Windsor, Vermont. Doctor Conger is also a member of the Dartmouth Medical School.
Doctor Conger Book Program to take place in Chester Vermont, Doctor Conger will be presenting his new book, which is titled It's Probably Nothing, More Adventures of a Country Doctor. The program will begin at 4:00 P.M. InIt's Probably Nothing, Conger learns that his patients-from Pauline Pontifact to Uptah Corless-need him more than ever to teach them how to navigate the modern medical maze.
This collection of stories showcases Conger's irreverent view into the doctor's role and his profound empathy for the characters he encounters along the way. Conger also examines how medicine-and problems with our current health-care system-can remain the same and yet feel vastly different whether you're a small-town farmer or an urban resident.

I used to attend events where author's read from their books when I would visit my son while he was living up in DC. Now he is in Berlin for the next 2 years, so no more trips north....................

I will bet the good Dr. Conger will provide an autpgraph for anyone buying his new book. My wife has gone to a few of these book events with the author present and she enjoyed each event. A country Dr. probably had many tales to tell.
Competing with the superbowl today - book events are always a fun thing to do if you are an avid reader.
