New Hampshire Energy Incentive Series Part Three of Five, Residential Electric Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs, the National Grid's New Construction Program, offers folks incentives and even technical support to help their customers, that are having a Energy Star Certified Home built.

The Eligible Energy Star Certified equipment includes, Room Air Conditioners, Lights - like Compact Fluorescent Bulbs for an example, and Washers. The rebates can range from a $1.00 to $50.00's. Some of the rebates are given at the time of purchase, while others you need to fill out a mail-in application.



New Hampshire Energy Incentive Series Part Three of Five, there's also a home Energy Solutions Program, offers to National Grid's New Hampshire residential customers up to $4000.00 in services for qualified electric efficiency improvements. The program is offered to those customers with an average electric use of 30 kWh per day or more Incentives are available to replace inefficient lighting and refrigerators and to add insulation in electrically heated homes.
Incentive Type: Utility Rebate Program
Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Refrigerators, Freezers, Lighting, Duck Air sealing, Building Insulation, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building
Applicable Sectors: Residential
Amount: Lighting Rebates $1.00 to $10.00/Fixture, Room Air Conditioners
Maximum Incentive: The Home Energy Solutions Program $4000.00

Dale upgrading energy efficiency is so expensive I guess the only way to get people to do it is to reward them with tax credits, etc.

Frank - before I give you an answer, will you please be specific as to the clip art you are asking about.
John - yes some items can be expensive to upgrade at first, but it will save you money in the long hall. Plus in a few years, folks could very will be made to do the upgrades in order to even put their home on the market to selle. That is what the Fed's are working on and wanting to do to folks.

There sure some fine rebates out there folks, to help them to buy Energy Star appliances. So they can save some money.
Dale I think we may qualify for some of these rebates; I'm thinking about adding some extra insulation and maybe some new windows on the north side of our home. Have toput a pencil to it cost wise.
