The trim material used: Wood
The exterior entry doors: Wood

Siding, tlashing and trim
What we are looking at, and have going on here. Is the wood siding and trim at multiple locations around the exterior of the coverd front porch, is deteriorated and peeling paint or failing. Because of the extent of deterioration it sure is possible for some framing to be deteriorated. The recommendation here, would be to have a qualified contractor evaluate and make repairs as needed.

Hope you have learned and enjoyed, this part of the Inspection of the home!

Dale - I did a new house today that is doing the exact same thing. If it is not fixed it will look like your pic (above). What happened to workmenship in this country.
Howdy there Carl and Ceil

I do believe that true workmenship, has gone right out the window. It just seem's a lot of folks just don't take pride in what they do anymore. All they want is the money for the work. No matter if the work was done right or not.
Hello Dale - wanted to stop back by to see if you might had gotten some new comments left. you are always writing blogs that are really helpful for folks. You always do the best Localism blog posts for your area and for the whole State of New Hampshire. Marry Christmas to you and Deb!
